Gerster TechTex offers ceramic fabric for demanding applications requiring the highest thermal and mechanical requirements must be met. High-performance fibers such as aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃) and high-silicate fibers based on S-glass are used, which are characterized by exceptional temperature resistance and stability. The fabrics are available in different orientations – both unidirectional as well as bidirectional – and can be customized with different types of weaves such as plain, twill, satin, or Panama. The width of the fabrics can be flexibly adjusted up to 320 cm, while the roll lengths can be up to 5000 meters on request. Through their non-wavy structure the material offers excellent drapability and can be easily adapted to complex, concave, or convex geometries.
