JEC World 2026 in Paris was a highly successful and valuable event for Gerster TechTex. The trade fair took place from 10 March to 12 March 2026. Over the course of the three days, we were able to strengthen our existing business relationships and establish numerous new contacts. The trade fair once again confirmed its status as a key meeting place for the international composites industry.

A key focus was on engaging in personal discussions with our long-standing customers and partners. Many familiar faces visited our stand, enabling us to further refine existing projects and identify new requirements at an early stage. The discussions were characterised by continued stable demand for high-quality technical fabrics, as well as growing interest in bespoke, application-specific solutions.

At the same time, the trade fair provided an excellent platform for generating new contacts. We were particularly pleased with the large number of qualified enquiries from potential new customers across various sectors, including the automotive, aviation and industrial sectors. We were also able to establish interesting new connections with suppliers, which will help to expand our network in the future.

Further developments in the field of natural fibres were also particularly relevant to Gerster TechTex. New material approaches, improved mechanical properties and advances in processability are opening up additional opportunities for the development of sustainable yet high-performance fabric structures. Particularly in the context of growing demand for environmentally friendly composite solutions, this has provided important impetus for future projects.

Overall, we can draw a very positive conclusion from JEC World 2026. The combination of intensive customer engagement, promising new contacts and valuable technological insights provides an excellent foundation for further business development. The trade fair has demonstrated that Gerster TechTex, with its focus on high-quality, bespoke solutions, remains very well positioned in the market.

The Enforce Tac 2026 in Nuremberg provided Gerster TechTex with a concise and focused overview of the latest developments in the field of protection and security systems. The focus was on engaging with existing partners and establishing new contacts, particularly with system providers and integrators.

From a technological perspective, there was a clear focus on lightweight construction, alongside increasing safety requirements. High-performance fibres, hybrid materials and optimised fabric structures are becoming increasingly important. Initial steps towards the use of sustainable materials were also evident.

Overall, the visit to the trade fair provided valuable insights for the further development of technical fabrics in the protective clothing sector, as well as for Gerster TechTex’s future projects.

Gustav Gerster GmbH, TechTex division, participated as an exhibitor at this year's JEC Central Europe in Krakow. With a modern booth, we presented our product range in the field of tape and wide fabrics, among other things, and were able to underline our position as a reliable partner for technical textiles in the international composite materials market.

The trade fair appearance provided numerous opportunities to present our solutions to a broad specialist audience. Particularly noteworthy was the great interest shown by visitors and companies from Eastern Europe, who see Gerster Techtex as a competent supplier of high-quality fabric solutions. These contacts form a valuable basis for future projects and partnerships.

Another focus was on the B2B meetings organized in advance, which proved to be very productive. Intensive discussions strengthened existing relationships and identified new business opportunities. The positive response shows that our developments in the field of technical fabrics are providing important impetus for various industries.

At the end of the trade fair, an interesting factory tour provided additional insights into innovative manufacturing processes and possible applications for composite materials. This program item rounded off the event and underlined the high value placed on knowledge exchange within the industry.

Participating in JEC Central Europe in Krakow made it clear to us how important personal dialogue and the targeted presentation of our expertise are. We can look back on a successful trade fair and look forward to further expanding the contacts we have made and jointly implementing new projects in the field of technical textiles.

On June 11 and 12, 2025, we were present at the second edition of the JEC Forum ITALY in the impressive Villa Erba in Cernobbio on Lake Como. The event brought together the Italian composites community – from innovative companies to leading research and development centers.

For our sales team, this was the ideal opportunity to learn about the latest trends in composite materials and establish valuable contacts in a dynamic market environment. Intensive networking with experts and partners from the industry confirms our belief that high-performance textile solutions are also becoming increasingly important in this segment.

We would like to thank all our discussion partners for the exciting exchange and look forward to further developing the connections we have made in future projects.

This year was Gerster TechTex first time as an exhibitor at the Enforce Tac 2025 represented in Nuremberg – and we can look back on a successful premiere.

Our trade fair presentation focused on innovative Technical textiles for protective gear and operational equipment, a growing business area with high relevance for emergency services and authorities.

We were able to make new contacts, engage in exciting discussions and present our portfolio to an interested specialist audience. The positive response shows us that functional, reliable and high-quality textile solutions are in high demand in this area – and that Gerster TechTex is perceived as a competent partner.
