Our integrated management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 (quality management) and DIN EN ISO 14001:2015 (environmental management) was once again successfully certified by an external auditor during the most recent surveillance audit.
In particular, our strong process reliability, clearly structured workflows, and our active commitment to environmental responsibility were highlighted.
The positive audit result serves as both a commitment and an incentive for us to continuously strengthen our quality awareness throughout the entire company.

JEC World 2026 in Paris was a highly successful and valuable event for Gerster TechTex. The trade fair took place from 10 March to 12 March 2026. Over the course of the three days, we were able to strengthen our existing business relationships and establish numerous new contacts. The trade fair once again confirmed its status as a key meeting place for the international composites industry.
A key focus was on engaging in personal discussions with our long-standing customers and partners. Many familiar faces visited our stand, enabling us to further refine existing projects and identify new requirements at an early stage. The discussions were characterised by continued stable demand for high-quality technical fabrics, as well as growing interest in bespoke, application-specific solutions.
At the same time, the trade fair provided an excellent platform for generating new contacts. We were particularly pleased with the large number of qualified enquiries from potential new customers across various sectors, including the automotive, aviation and industrial sectors. We were also able to establish interesting new connections with suppliers, which will help to expand our network in the future.
Further developments in the field of natural fibres were also particularly relevant to Gerster TechTex. New material approaches, improved mechanical properties and advances in processability are opening up additional opportunities for the development of sustainable yet high-performance fabric structures. Particularly in the context of growing demand for environmentally friendly composite solutions, this has provided important impetus for future projects.
Overall, we can draw a very positive conclusion from JEC World 2026. The combination of intensive customer engagement, promising new contacts and valuable technological insights provides an excellent foundation for further business development. The trade fair has demonstrated that Gerster TechTex, with its focus on high-quality, bespoke solutions, remains very well positioned in the market.

The Enforce Tac 2026 in Nuremberg provided Gerster TechTex with a concise and focused overview of the latest developments in the field of protection and security systems. The focus was on engaging with existing partners and establishing new contacts, particularly with system providers and integrators.
From a technological perspective, there was a clear focus on lightweight construction, alongside increasing safety requirements. High-performance fibres, hybrid materials and optimised fabric structures are becoming increasingly important. Initial steps towards the use of sustainable materials were also evident.
Overall, the visit to the trade fair provided valuable insights for the further development of technical fabrics in the protective clothing sector, as well as for Gerster TechTex’s future projects.

On 21 and 22 October 2025, Gerster TechTex as an exhibitor and supplier at the JEC Forum DACH represented in Dresden. The event brought together numerous companies, research institutions and industry experts from across the DACH region – an ideal environment for discussing current developments, trends and innovations in the field of fibre-based composite materials to discuss.
Our team took the opportunity to showcase our solutions in the field of Technical tapes, fabrics and reinforcement textiles and to learn about new requirements and possible applications through direct exchange. The many intensive discussions with existing partners and new contacts were particularly valuable. This resulted in exciting prospects for future collaborations and projects.
In addition to professional exchanges, the focus was also on personal reunions – old acquaintances from the industry, new faces, many good conversations and a thoroughly positive trade fair experience. The JEC Forum DACH once again demonstrated how important platforms like this are for knowledge transfer and networking within the composite community.
We would like to thank all visitors to our stand for their interest, the inspiring discussions and the friendly atmosphere. We will take the feedback and new ideas back with us to our daily work – with the aim of further improving our products and services.

On September 9, 2025, we welcomed Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, Minister of Economic Affairs for the State of Baden-Württemberg, Thomas Dörflinger, member of the state parliament, and representatives of the CDU, the district administration, and the city of Biberach to our company.
The focus was on insights into our more than 140-year company history, continuous development, and Gerster's current business areas—from innovative technical textiles for high-tech industries to our traditional trading business with home textiles. The exchange on the current economic situation, the importance of innovation and digitalization, international competitiveness, and the role of small and medium-sized enterprises in Baden-Württemberg was particularly valuable.

Gustav Gerster GmbH, TechTex division, participated as an exhibitor at this year's JEC Central Europe in Krakow. With a modern booth, we presented our product range in the field of tape and wide fabrics, among other things, and were able to underline our position as a reliable partner for technical textiles in the international composite materials market.
The trade fair appearance provided numerous opportunities to present our solutions to a broad specialist audience. Particularly noteworthy was the great interest shown by visitors and companies from Eastern Europe, who see Gerster Techtex as a competent supplier of high-quality fabric solutions. These contacts form a valuable basis for future projects and partnerships.
Another focus was on the B2B meetings organized in advance, which proved to be very productive. Intensive discussions strengthened existing relationships and identified new business opportunities. The positive response shows that our developments in the field of technical fabrics are providing important impetus for various industries.
At the end of the trade fair, an interesting factory tour provided additional insights into innovative manufacturing processes and possible applications for composite materials. This program item rounded off the event and underlined the high value placed on knowledge exchange within the industry.
Participating in JEC Central Europe in Krakow made it clear to us how important personal dialogue and the targeted presentation of our expertise are. We can look back on a successful trade fair and look forward to further expanding the contacts we have made and jointly implementing new projects in the field of technical textiles.
On September 1, 2025, eleven new trainees started working with us in various areas. We warmly welcome them and look forward to their fresh ideas, curiosity, and team spirit.
Special emphasis is placed on the principle of rotation: Our trainees undergo all relevant departments and areas within the company. This allows them to gain a comprehensive understanding of processes, discover their strengths, and develop a broad understanding of our business—from central functions to operational teams.
