JEC World 2026 in Paris was a highly successful and valuable event for Gerster TechTex. The trade fair took place from 10 March to 12 March 2026. Over the course of the three days, we were able to strengthen our existing business relationships and establish numerous new contacts. The trade fair once again confirmed its status as a key meeting place for the international composites industry.

A key focus was on engaging in personal discussions with our long-standing customers and partners. Many familiar faces visited our stand, enabling us to further refine existing projects and identify new requirements at an early stage. The discussions were characterised by continued stable demand for high-quality technical fabrics, as well as growing interest in bespoke, application-specific solutions.

At the same time, the trade fair provided an excellent platform for generating new contacts. We were particularly pleased with the large number of qualified enquiries from potential new customers across various sectors, including the automotive, aviation and industrial sectors. We were also able to establish interesting new connections with suppliers, which will help to expand our network in the future.

Further developments in the field of natural fibres were also particularly relevant to Gerster TechTex. New material approaches, improved mechanical properties and advances in processability are opening up additional opportunities for the development of sustainable yet high-performance fabric structures. Particularly in the context of growing demand for environmentally friendly composite solutions, this has provided important impetus for future projects.

Overall, we can draw a very positive conclusion from JEC World 2026. The combination of intensive customer engagement, promising new contacts and valuable technological insights provides an excellent foundation for further business development. The trade fair has demonstrated that Gerster TechTex, with its focus on high-quality, bespoke solutions, remains very well positioned in the market.

We were there! From 23 to 25 February 2026.

The Enforce Tac 2026 in Nuremberg provided Gerster TechTex with a concise and focused overview of the latest developments in the field of protection and security systems. The focus was on engaging with existing partners and establishing new contacts, particularly with system providers and integrators.

From a technological perspective, there was a clear focus on lightweight construction, alongside increasing safety requirements. High-performance fibres, hybrid materials and optimised fabric structures are becoming increasingly important. Initial steps towards the use of sustainable materials were also evident.

Overall, the visit to the trade fair provided valuable insights for the further development of technical fabrics in the protective clothing sector, as well as for Gerster TechTex’s future projects.
