// Heavy-duty, flexible, and reliable
Gerster TechTex offers core-braided hoses from a variety of materials such as natural fiber yarns, including cotton, wool and flax, as well as synthetic yarns such as polyester, polypropylene, polyamides and Trevira CS®. The range is complemented by yarns made from natural polymers such as viscose and rayon, high-strength fibers such as Dyneema® and aramid, as well as non-flammable and engineering plastics such as PTFE, PVDF, PEEK and PPS. The hoses are designed for a diameter of 50 mm as standard and are manufactured with a +/- 45° alignment.
These hoses enable the overlacing from solid bodies such as wood or thermoplastics with diameters of up to 50 mm. The objects to be woven are fed directly into the weaving machine via a gripping mechanism on a robotic arm. The structures can be either convex as well as concave By adjusting the weaving angles, it is possible to create differently shaped, rotationally symmetrical, straight and curved bodies. close-fitting and form-fitting envelope. Individual diameters are also possible.
The core-braided hoses impress with their seamless workmanship, high resilience and burst resistance. They offer uniform shrinkage behaviour and constant material thickness, even on curves and edges. Customised adjustments are easily possible, ensuring a high degree of versatility.
