Warp-knitted tapes Gerster TechTex offers a wide range of materials, from natural fiber yarns such as cotton, wool, or flax over synthetic yarns from polyester, polypropylene, polyamides and Trevira CS® to yarns made from natural polymers such as viscose and rayon. High-strength fibres such as Dyneema® and aramid, as well as non-flammable materials such as Trevira CS®, are also part of the range. In addition, high-performance polymers such as PTFE, PVDF, PEEK and PPS are available.
The widths of the bands can be individually adjusted up to 28 cm, as can the machine width. The alignment can be unidirectional, bidirectional or +/- 45° can be produced, including grid tapes and contour-hugging tapes, which offer particular advantages in processing. Cords, braids and other preliminary products can be seamlessly integrated or applied to enable tailor-made solutions. Strong, non-fraying edges sure simple and high-quality further processing. Warp and weft thread densities can be individually tailored to the respective requirements.
