Our Hybrid fabrics combine technical reinforcement fibers such as glass, carbon, or flax with thermoplastic matrix materials like PP, PA, or PLA, offering an efficient solution for producing functional and visually high-quality components. Depending on requirements, commingled yarns, fiber yarn blends, or filament yarns are used. The fabrics are bidirectional riented, customizable up to widths of 200 cm, and based on the Draptex weave, which creates a closed fiber surface ideal for premium visible and painted applications.
Through their non-wavy structure the material offers excellent drapability and can be easily adapted to complex, concave, or convex geometries. The material behavior facilitates virtually wrinkle-free processing with minimal gaps, even with anspruchsvollen Formgebungen. Automated forming in heated molds, as used in interval heating presses, can be carried out reliably. At the same time, cutting costs are reduced, which significantly lowers process costs.
