Gerster TechTex offers Contour tapes made from high-quality materials such as carbon, glass, flax, basalt, and aramid, as well as hybrid variants specially developed for demanding composite applications. With customizable widths with widths of up to 28 cm, our contour tapes are flexibly tailored to your requirements.
The tapes can be manufactured in various orientations, including unidirectional, bidirectional, radial and in circumferential direction. Various types of weaves are also available, such as canvas, twill, satin, and Panama, as well as unidirectional variants. Particularly noteworthy are the strong, non-fraying edges on both sides, ensuring stability and quality.
With a minimum radius of 75 mm and no upper limit enable our contour tapes also complex geometries and near-net-shape applications. They are ideal for serial applications and are characterized by their waste-free production that avoids waste and is therefore sustainable.
Gerster TechTex’s contour tapes are certified with the AVK seal of approval and offer customizable widths as well as warp and weft densities. This makes them an efficient and precise solution for modern composite projects.
