Gerster TechTex offers braided tapes made from high-quality materials such as carbon, glass, flax, basalt, and aramid, as well as hybrid variants. Both flat as well as round meshes are possible, with flat meshes being manufactured individually in widths of up to 20 millimeters and round meshes with a diameter of up to 25 millimeters.
The fiber orientation is unidirectional or at an angle of +/- 45 degrees possible. In addition, conductive materials such as copper can be integrated to enhance functional properties.
A major advantage of our braided tapes is their strength, non-fraying edge structure, which ensures high stability and durability. They are ideal for processes such as resin transfer molding (RTM), vacuum infusion, and pultrusion.
