// All-round protection, flexible adjustment
Gerster TechTex offers round woven hoses from a wide range of materials, including natural fibre yarns such as cotton, wool and flax, as well as synthetic yarns such as polyester, polypropylene, polyamide and Trevira CS®. The range is complemented by yarns made from natural polymers such as viscose and rayon, high-strength fibers such as Dyneema® and aramid, as well as non-combustible materials and engineering plastics such as PTFE, PVDF, PEEK and PPS. The hoses are up to 60 mm wide, which corresponds to a diameter of approximately 40 mm, and are manufactured biaxially with plain or twill weave.
These round-woven hoses protect Pipes and rotationally symmetrical, straight or curved bodies reliably protected against mechanic and thermal stresses. The use of elastic weft materials such as elastane results in flexible, stretchy tubes that adapt perfectly to different geometries. Warp and weft thread densities are individual customise to meet specific requirements
The hoses are characterised by their seamless manufacture, high resilience and burst resistance. They offer uniform shrinkage behaviour and constant material thickness, even on curves and edges. Customised adjustments can be made without any problems.
