Gerster TechTex offers DRAPTEX <\/strong>, a specialized fabric made from materials such as carbon, glass, flax, basalt, aramid, and hybrid variants. The widths are customizable up to 260 centimeters, allowing optimal adaptation to your projects.

The fabric is bidirectional <\/strong>and is manufactured using the innovative Draptex weave. Wrinkle-free twill fabrics and the integration of hybrid yarns for the production of organic sheets round off the product portfolio. DRAPTEX impresses with its closed fiber surface<\/strong>, which was specially developed for high-quality viewing and painting applications. As Non Crimp Fabric (NCF)<\/strong> it guarantees a tissue-free structure without curvatures, enabling high drapability even with complex, concave, and convex component geometries.

The reduced cutting effort<\/strong> and lower process costs increase the efficiency of your manufacturing. Additionally, automated forming by closing the tool molds is possible. The formation of fabric openings (flow channels) improves infiltration, especially in multilayer applications.
